Back to TWO car family

After 15 months of single car bliss, we are putting our red BONE-MOBILE back on the streets.

 Red Isuzu rodeo with 200k miles, about an inch of parking garage dirt, shall rise from the auto morgue!

10 8th graders at the birthday party...and ONE 45 year old!  My murder mystery character Jack Marrow dies...EEEEeek!

(btw... A Roof top party in March? In Boston? Do I have the Oil Companies to thank? Or mother nature...)

These cuties were in JFK on March 16th!  Found out that they were SISTERS aged 5 and 1.

Great beggars btw!  We first saw them in the food court, then flying first class.

Daughter is turning 14 !! 9 boy/girl guests coming for murder mystery dinner in 5 hours

We will be celebrating my now 13 year old's daugher's birthday.. 9 of her friends and classmates are coming to do a custom murder mystery dinner/play.  WHO-DONE-IT!

Getting a big 15 pass. van, trucking the kids around to and fro...

While it is NOT the beginning of fun parties.. the tone is definitely more mature.  Boys are suddenly not creeped out by the girls, and the girls and suddenly quite curious about the distracted, noisy, loud, and hungry boys in the group.  WILL REPORT the news later...

Rain in the sunshine state - BOO!

So the wife and I got to go to Florida (we live in Boston) to hang out on Hutchinson Island with my parents in their new condo on the inter coastal waterway.  This place is beautiful - it has everything!  A boat slip, quite cul de sac, view facing west for great sunsets, birds, fish, manatee - everything but SUN.

We are here through Tuesday morning next week and the forecast is looking up.  Please, can the rain move out and let us get on with our sunburns!?

So we are about to start a sales and technical call with a local tech company that wants to take their web product and port it to the Iphone!

Next should be the Ipad - web used to be the hotest place for B2C (business to consumer) apps, no more tho.  It is all going MOBILE ... did you hear that?  Mobile is the new hot platform.

Blog post # 1 !

Yes, it's quite cliche, but my 14 year old daughter FINALLY has me blogging, and well, I must admit it is a new experience. I never read blogs, much less write them so this is a new day indeed. I have always admired those who have the imagination and discipline to sit down and tell the world their story on a regular basis.

Helping me along in my new venture was a little inspiration from the movie Julie and Julia which we all watched on Friday.

We just got back from swimming in the hotel pool. So as I type this, and my blonde/gray hair dries, the chlorine frizz does its best to reshape my head into a Christmas wreath. A wreath from Christmas 2009.

We will return and share our observations from my perch overlooking Logan Airport, and on the couch next to my 14 year old semi-pro blogging coach.
